Key Data

Alicia studied architecture at Escuela Politécnica de Madrid, specializing in urbanism. She received her degree with the final project “Water Museum in Delft. Holland” and started her professional career as apprentice and assistant architect in Madrid.

Subsequently, Alicia moved to Ireland and joined Scott Tallon Walker Architects (Dublin) in 2000 where she worked primarily in competitions, presentations and submissions which highlighted Alicia’s skill in graphic depiction and all kind of drawing representation.

While in Dublin she also joined heneghan.peng.architects in 2003, where she took part in the conclusion of the second stage of the winning prize competition “Grand Egyptian Museum” in Giza.

When Scott Tallon Walker opened in the city of Cork Alicia was offered a position in the new office. There she worked in the “Clearwater Enterprise Park Masterplan" and some competitions based in the city of Cork.

Since August 2006 she lies again in Madrid, where she works in offices like RTKL-España, and collaborates with M. Angel Blanco. She makes compatible her profession of architect with her interest and love in drawing and graphic design. Therefore, she takes part in graphic design courses and some painting exhibitions. This training culminates with the completion of the “II Master Degree in Digital and Multimedia Communication of the Project of Architecture”.The Master’s final project got a distinction and rated as excellent.

Recently she worked for the Council of Culture and Tourism of the Regional Government of Madrid, Giuarq S.L. and the College of Architecture in the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Currently Alicia is creative director in 4Girasoles | creative studio, specialized in Graphic and Web Design and multimedia presentations of projects of architecture.
